California!

I finally made it back to California. It's only been a few years...I had forgotten just how much I love it there! Now I can't wait to go back...maybe for good? I stayed with Angie and got to see her whole family (in town for a reunion).
Then I totally surprised my parents by walking into their kitchen. They had no clue I was coming and it was pretty funny. Brett & Kim & the kids are staying with them so I was able to spend time with them too. It was awesome to see Joy & Patricia and the Wrights as well.

I finished finals and thought I would reward myself with a weekend at the beach. Unfortunately the sun decided to hide. I played some mini-golf with the kids and Susan, went to the indoor pool and the boardwalk. I even found some cinnamon bears, which I love but can never find!

Happy Birthday Kody!

Kody just turned 5 in May. Samantha & I flew out to Michigan to enjoy the Star Wars party. He waited a long time for this particular party. My parents were also there (having just returned from their mission in Spain). They got to meet Madi for the 1st time. It was really crowded but we all had a lot of fun. This was everyone's last weekend in Michigan - Brett & Kim have moved back to California!
